I am certified to lead groups, seminars, and retreats using Love Thinks’ PICK (Premarital, Interpersonal, Choices & Knowledge) curriculum. Leslie Vernick: Leslie Vernick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania, who writes and speaks on topics such as emotional abuse and destructive marriages. She is the author of The Emotionally Destructive Relationship and The Emotionally Destructive Marriage. She offers webinars and hosts an online support group for those in verbally and emotionally abusive relationships.

The Allender Center: Dan Allender is a dynamic author and speaker, who presents “his unique perspective on sexual abuse recovery, love and forgiveness, intimacy and marriage, worship, and other related topics. Dan is the author of The Wounded Heart, The Healing Path, To Be Told, and God Loves Sex, and he has co-authored several books with Dr. Tremper Longman, including Intimate Allies, The Cry of the Soul, Bold Love, and Bold Purpose.

Epworth Children and Family Services: Epworth offers a variety of grant funded programs in the city and county, which means – free services to St. Louis city and county residents! Such programs include the Family Support Network (which offers in-home counseling for families) and Epworth Psychological Services (offering assessments and case management services for individuals over age 3).

Behavioral Health Response: BHR is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. BHR “provides confidential telephone counseling to people in mental health crises as well as mobile outreach services, community referral services and critical incident stress management (CISM). BHR’s crisis hotline and mobile outreach services are provided free of charge to the public by paid professional staff who have masters degrees in their respective behavioral science disciplines.”
